and now.....

So our latest update...
Ryker now has 6 teeth and is working on his poor little molars. he tries to talk all the time now, he can say mama, dada, papa, ball, bottle, and a few other words as well as his 2 favorite phrases, I did it, and All done. he's on the verge of walking, not quite there yet though. he's fully capable of standing on his own but gets scared and will sit down as soon as he realizes that he is standing. he's very aware of mom's tummy. he really likes to lay his head on it and wait for his baby brother to kick him. he's growing so fast.
with the new baby's arrival nearing of course i have been doing a lot of reminiscing on our little man's first year, i find myself getting caught up in looking at pictures from when he was first born. here are some of my favorites...

Ryker is really enjoying having papa right upstairs. he reminds us daily that he loves his papa by sitting on the stairs and whispering "papa" until we take him upstairs to say hi.

This picture is for Papa Fitz. Ryker is already training and having fun kicking his soccer ball around.
For memorial day weekend Papa took us and cousin Kaleb and Kenden to see thomas the train engine. we had loads of fun even though my face might not show it.

So a couple of days ago, Ryker and I were running errands and he just kept gabbing and gabbing so of course I had to see what he what he was doing. When I turned around he just gave me a big grin and showed me his block!

I don't quite know what prompted this pose but he decided it was the best position in which he wanted to watch Saturday morning cartoons with his dad.

Alas, he has discovered the laundry basket!

And last but not least we have two of our favorite videos to share with you. The first is Ryker playing a new kind of tickle game with Gabe. the second is of Ryker's first oreo cookie.(or at least half of the cookie portion.

our latest!!!

For the most part our lives are about the same. Still enjoying being married most of the time. Gabe is still working at Teleperformance. I guess our biggest change has been that i no longer have a job. I'm absolutely loving being able to be home with our baby all the time. i know eventually i will have to get a new job but for now we'll just enjoy it.

Our little man is learning to stand on his own. He can roll either way to and from his tummy. He can sit up on his own and loves trying to be independent. We still have no teeth but we are very close. His gums are very swollen and ready to break those teeth through.

Back in the beginning of December Gabe had to have a couple of medical procedures for stomach problems. Don't worry he's all better now. Although Gabe with anesthesia is quite the sight.
