Today's Photoshoot

Today Ryker and i had fun Practicing sitting up and also played with the camera. he's now discovered that he can throw himself forward and usually balance there for a bit before his little back gets tired. he's also discovered that mom takes a lot of pictures. the camera is one of his new favorite passtimes.

sorry. apparently i figured that i would have a lot more time on my hands for blogging. here's our latest update: Ryker is growing liek crazy. he's almost double his birth weight and nearly 6 inches longer than when he was born. Although our little boy was so small to begin with that he very closely resembles a newborn at this point. we have a doctors appt. next week and are very anxious to see exactly how much he's grown. Gabe is still working for Teleperformance even though he dreads going to work everyday. i'm very proud of him for sticking it out though. my first couple of weeks back to work have been rather stressful. between new staff and getting back into the groove of things it's been tough. i wish i could be a stay at home mom and not have to stress about a babysitter or how he's doing without me but alas we can not afford it nor would we have medical insurance if i quit my job. but hey such is life.

as of today, Gabe and i our planning our wedding. No he didn't propose but we decided that given our lack of funds, it's better that we don't spend the money on a nice pricey ring right now. we are planning to wed on October 30. the dat is not set in stone yet but that is what we are aiming for. we want to marry before my brother leaves on his mission so that we don't have to have any more family miss out on it than we already will.

Bath Time!!!

we have very quickly discovered that Ryker absolutely loves his bath time. he kicks and plays in the water and couldn't be happier doing so...

he loves to kick his little legs out and rest them on the end of the tub...

this usually turns into him pushing against the tub until he moves the whole back piece...

we're so excited to see Ryker finally packing on the pounds. He's over 8 lbs. now & looking more and more plump everyday. here's the first of Ryker's pictures...and here is the latest...and here is a video of Ryker talking to everyone...
